Patio Andaluz

Location:
Av. García Moreno N6-52 between Olmedo and Mejia
Centro Histórico, Quito, Ecuador

Hotel

V!VA User‘s Description

Patio Andaluz is located in the heart of the Centro Histórico in a 400+ year-old-house that was once owned by the first president of Ecuador, Juan José Flores. The hotel was renovated in December 2003 but retains its classic colonial style. It is a harmonious combination of colonial Quito and modern luxuries you will appreciate.

The rooms are beautiful, with hardwood floors and views onto the courtyard. Play chess on handcrafted tables overlooking the courtyard, relax in the hammocks, read magazines and books in English and Spanish in the peaceful Guayasamin Lounge (named after a famous Quiteño artist), or spend your free time in the sauna and fitness room in the back. Some guests have complained about the lack of ventilation. The only windows in rooms look out onto the indoor courtyard.

There is also an on-site restaurant and gift shop with local artesanal crafts.

Ask about package deals which include all your meals and tours around the Centro and to featured museums.
